To celebrate their seven-year anniversary, Daan and Judith decide to have a weekend getaway at a vacation house on a quiet Dutch island. However, they arrive during the weekend when the town holds an annual and somewhat ominous festival called “Sunderum,”in which non-locals are not welcome. Tension begins to rise as their perfect holiday slowly unravels into a potentially dangerous endeavor.
