Young Filmmakers Panel: Imagination Never Gets 'Old'
How often do you get the question: “What do you want to be when you grow up?” And if the answer is “screenwriter”, do you really know the ins and outs of what that means? Sit down with writers, producers, and executives for a discussion on what a screenwriting career in Hollywood looks like, how creativity can be honed, and how imagination isn’t just for kids. Michael H. Weber (writer Paper Towns) will talk indie film, Nicole Perlman (writer Guardians of the Galaxy), will share secrets on comic book adaptations and big Hollywood blockbusters, Liz Tigelaar (Bates Motel) will chat all things TV, and Emily Mollenkopf will reveal behind-the-scenes intel on her work as a Development Executive at Pixar Animation Studios.
