Jillian is the Vice President of Content at Imperative Entertainment where she focuses on the development of original and branded entertainment across all media including film, television, video games, books, comics, and new media. In addition to recently announced features with Ruben Fleischer and Black List scribe Zach Dean, she optioned the New York Times-bestseller Circling the Sun by Paula McLain and Sand by Hugh Howey for TV. Imperative is also producing Heroes Reborn for NBC and Hot Summer Nights, written and directed by Elijah Bynum.

Prior to Imperative, Jillian ran New York-based production company Ars Nova, where she acquired, developed, and produced a variety of multi-platform content. During her tenure at Ars Nova, Jillian served as Co-Producer on the 2009 Blaxploitation comedy Black Dynamite and as Executive Producer on the Black Dynamite animated series, which recently completed its second season on Adult Swim. She also developed and story-edited the Black Dynamite comic book series for IDW and served as Executive Producer on Freestyle Love Supreme, an improvised hip-hop series for Pivot TV.
