Originally from New Zealand, Michelle is known to American audiences for her work in Jane Campion’s Emmy-winning miniseries Top Of The Lake.

Living in the States since 2008, she has been in the films Big Momma's House; Like Father Like Son, The Beaver directed by Jodie Foster, Netflix cult horror film The Taking of Deborah Logan produced by Bryan Singer and will be seen in the upcoming John Hillcoat drama Triple Nine, working opposite Woody Harrelson.

Her international film work has screened in many festivals and won awards including those at Sundance, Cannes and Berlin.

Michelle’s turn as the lead in Underemployed; the MTV scripted television series penned by Emmy-nominated writer Craig Wright, garnered her a loyal youth following. Her guest star credits include Grey’s Anatomy, Perception, Rizzoli & Isles, Drop Dead Diva and NCIS:LA.
