Troy Anthony Miller is a writer, filmmaker and improv comedian. His feature film Severance made its World Premiere at AFF in 2005, and his screenplay The Hitch (2013 AFF Horror Award Winner) is under option with filmmaker Frank Darabont (The Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile, The Walking Dead). He also holds the distinction of being a finalist in AFF’s Pitch Competition a record six times. In 2014, he was selected by The Black List to participate in their 2nd annual Screenwriter’s Lab in Las Vegas. When not writing, Troy teaches improvisation and performs with his nationally-touring comedy troupe Confidence Men: Improvised David Mamet, a two-time winner of the B. Iden Payne Award for Best Improvisational Theatre (Austin’s version of the Tony’s).
